About Elk Haven Winery

Our Story

Elevated by Nature, Rooted in Family

Elk Haven Winery, founded in 2018, is a family-owned winery with a passion for crafting exceptional wines. We started in Worley, Idaho, at 2,600 feet with Single Tree Vineyard — the ideal elevation for cold-climate whites like Gewürztraminer, Grüner Veltliner, and Riesling. In 2022, co-owners Miles and Lindy expanded to a 12-acre vineyard in the renowned Red Mountain AVA, where bold reds thrive in the unique terroir. Today, Elk Haven operates from our Red Mountain facility, offering guests wines from both vineyards, a full dining program, and sweeping views of the estate vineyard, Yakima River, and Horse Heaven Hills.

THE HEART OF THE HAVEN

Meet Our Team

Chelsea Dudder-Cox

Woodinville Tasting Room Manager

Chelsea is a Pacific Northwest native who grew up in the Mukilteo area and has spent the past five years working in the wine industry, following a 20+ year career in weddings and events. She’s excited to introduce Elk Haven to Woodinville and the surrounding communities and to create a space where everyone feels welcome.

When she’s not in the tasting room, Chelsea loves exploring the outdoors, traveling, experiencing all forms of art, and catching live music. She also spends plenty of time in the pottery studio, where she loves getting her hands dirty and creating ceramics of all kinds.

Chris Selfridge

Executive Chef

Formerly at Drumheller inside the Lodge at Columbia Point. Leads the Vine Dining program and full kitchen.

Cole Scott

Winemaker

Started his winemaking career at Goose Ridge Winery while attending Washington State University, and continued at Double Canyon, which gave him early hands-on experience and shaped his approach to winemaking.  In he stepped into a dual role as Winemaker and Vineyard Manager at Chandler Reach Winery, developing a deeper connection to the land and the full winemaking process from vine to bottle.

Cole is especially drawn to crafting balanced, expressive wines that reflect both the fruit and the place they come from.  While his first vintage at Elk Haven is still in the works, he’s excited about what’s ahead and sharing these wines.

Outside of the winery, Cole spends time with his wife and son, traveling, and on the golf course
